Money Back at Closing

I first met Shari at an open house she was holding. At that time, we were newly-married and living in an apartment. Our rent was $730 per month and though we had good jobs, it was hard to save anything for a down payment, even though we wanted to buy a house.

That didn't stop me from looking, and I ended up at Shari's open house.

It takes a high comfort level to talk with someone about your finances and I felt that rapport with her almost right away. We began talking and I asked Shari just how much I needed to put down on a house.

Shari told me she could get us into a house with zero down and get money back at closing!

So, I started looking for a house with Shari's help. I also did a lot of driving around on my own. Shari really took an interest in us, and helped us buy our first home in Benson. She got a good deal for us.

Five years went by, and we had two children.

It was time to look for a new home. Again, we weren't sure how much we could afford. We had done a lot of work on the house, and Shari did a market analysis for us.

She told us that we could get $45,000 more for the house than what we'd paid for it.

I began looking for a new home while we finished remodeling our bathroom.

I was frustrated throughout the process of finding a home, but Shari was very encouraging. She kept telling me, "We'll find your house."

Even though Shari knew I probably needed to aim higher, she let me come to that conclusion on my own. Shari was so patient with us; she never pushed.

We bid on two homes, but ended up with the third house-- right next door to one we had also bid on.

When Shari listed our house, it sold within two weeks.

We're so happy in this neighborhood. We're glad to be on this street.

We have a much better home, and one that really meets our needs.
